I recently moved from Northern VA to Ithaca, NY and after meeting with a few movers decided to go with Around Town Movers. They did an excellent job with every step of the process. The owner of the company came out and provided me a quote. He was very professional and did a good job of explaining the moving process. A few other folks from Around Town Movers were in touch with me along the way and they too were very professional. The movers showed up the day before my move to do a pre-pack and they were super nice and professional. They were very respectful of my home and laid down rubber floor protectors. The next day they came and packed everything up and again everything went smooth and as planned. They showed up to my new house a few days later within 5 minutes of the quoted time, which is very impressive considering it’s a 7 hour drive. Everything was delivered intact, with the exception of a single wine glass that broke. I had a lot of fragile stuff and some nice furniture and it was all delivered in the same condition as when it was picked up. I had a great experience with Around Town Movers and would certainly use them again.
