What to Expect During Your Commercial Move

Our commercial movers conduct an inventory and survey of all your items and develop a personalized moving plan that include all the details of your specific move, as well as the cost. Once you approve the plan, our Operations Department will work with you to determine any additional building and parking requirements for each location involved in your move.

Here’s what you can expect from us throughout each phase in your commercial moving process.

1. Before. On moving day, our Operations Manager/Advance Team Coordinator will arrive in our customer support vehicle before the moving crew. This person will ensure that the building management is ready to accept the office moving team, coordinate protection of the elevator, double-check parking and all access from your office door to the loading area.

2. During. When the movers arrive, the crew leader will check in with you. The crew will use protective Masonite floor boarding to protect the floors. They will also protect door jambs, halls and walkways with corrugated cardboard, and roll plastic floor protection on any carpeted areas. The crew leader will direct some members to complete any required packing and disassembly of furniture, and moving will begin.

Once the move is in progress, the Advance Team Coordinator will report to the next location and prepare the building management for the crew’s arrival. Once the trucks are loaded, we proceed directly to the next location and begin unloading. We will unload items, reassemble furniture, set up and unpack as required to get you settled and back in business right away.
